Umpqua Valley Fly Fishers is a Roseburg-area nonprofit club created to teach the art of fly casting, fly tying and fly fishing strategies.
We aim to have fun while promoting the sport of fly fishing to foster appreciation of our natural environment and conserving our natural resources.
We strive to share our passion for fly fishing with anyone willing to learn. Try fly casting and fly tying at one of several venues throughout the year.
Join us at one of our monthly meetings featuring guest speakers on all topics fishing, 1st Thursday of each month (September – June) at Cascading Coffee Company, 732 Cass Ave, Roseburg. Meet for socializing/food ordering at 6:15, meeting begins at 6:45pm.
Catch a tying or casting lesson at the annual Sportsman show or our own Fly Tying Festival in Glide every September. Kids can learn fly tying at the annual Kid’s Free Fishing event. Or check our calendar for upcoming opportunities.
