Umpqua Valley Fly Fishers is a Roseburg-area nonprofit club created to encourage and celebrate the sport of fly fishing, fly casting, fly tying and fly fishing strategies.

Our aim is to have fun while promoting the sport of fly fishing and to foster appreciation of our natural environment and conserving our natural resources.

We strive to share our passion for fly fishing with anyone willing to learn. Try fly casting and fly tying at one of several venues throughout the year. Numerous group outings around the local area are scheduled each year.

Join us at one of our monthly  meetings featuring guest speakers on all topics fishing, 1st Thursday of each month (September – June) at Roseburg Country Club on Garden Valley Rd. Meetings start at 5:30 with socializing and food/refreshments, the general meeting begins at 6:30 and ends at 8:30…come join us for a friendly good time.

Catch a tying or casting lesson at one of the many practice sessions we have each winter or at our Fly Tying Festival at Roseburg Country Club September 12th, 2020.  Kids can learn fly tying at the annual Kid’s Free Fishing event. Check our calendar for other opportunities as well.
